It is after much prayer and reflection that I have decided not to return to the DR in May but remain in the States as the Shauls administrative assistant. Although there were some obstacles preventing my return, such as the lack of community for me next September, there are also some joys. The Shauls and I both feel very strongly that the Lord is raising Dominicans to take the lead in the ongoing ministry in the DR. My presence in country may have been unnecessary and even a hindrance to that developing.

The Shauls are happy to have me continue to work for them from the States. My goal is to work for them while attaining a full time teaching job once again. Please be in prayer as it is a very competitive market here in Connecticut. I currently have a seasonal job at Macy's and hope that that can continue at least part time. I also hope to return to the DR next summer for a week to work alongside a visiting church group.

For those of you who are also my financial partners, words cannot express my gratitude for you allowing yourselves to be used by God as He proved Himself to be Jehova Jireh on my behalf! You may stop your payment at any time, although I would ask that your prayerfully consider supporting me through February as I get back on my feet with a full time job. Any extra support raised will go towards future short term trips to the DR or wherever else I may be needed. To stop your online automatic payment simply log in and cancel the payment. If you donated through DynaPay and wish to stop, please send an email to donorrelations@adventures.org or call 770-983-1060.

I thoroughly appreciate your support and wish your a very Merry Christmas season!
